Hello brave survivalists...you've picked a good day to venture out and try to stop the outbreak.

When Elda and Wesker approach the mailbox outside of Wiffle-Waffle, they will receive a note from the mailbox. The writing on the bottom is smudged, but it will state the following:

Abadacus - a device made of metal bars and wooden beads that move in an endless cycle. Often used for quick counting, dividing, and even cheating in a gamble. Also known as "infinity beads", the abadacus is a tool used to ward off vampires as it will distract them thanks to their undying need to count what's before them.

May also be used as a bludgeoning tool if necessary.

Hope Elda and Wesker have some money on hand because it looks like they're heading to the Stone Pegasus Casino. With both of them having heightened senses (including Elda's already heightened vampire senses), they will be able to hone in on this location almost immediately with little thought. As the pair enter the casino it will appear as though everything's still functioning normally. The slot machines are loud and spinning, blackjack and poker dealers cater to full tables of people, and waiters/waitresses walk by with cocktail drinks on a serving platter.

They will find that the casino itself is actually fairly distracting, however! Even if they're not the gambling type, it will be hard to resist the temptation to stop and play a bit. What's 50 cents here and a dollar there? It's fun! The overall experience is fun and they have time for a game or two.

If they're not careful and they don't stay sharp, however, they will start to succumb to a power the casino holds over them, something that makes them hyperfocused on the games and slowly forget their mission. What feels like minutes may actually become hours if they allow it. They will have to keep each other in-check and fight off the brainwashing effects lingering in the air.

It will come on stronger as they move toward the center of the casino where the cash dealer sits, a row of tellers waiting to provide you with money or trade your money with tokens. Behind them sits an object, beads moving in slow, lazy loops with no signs of stopping.

They will have to come up with a plan to bypass the tellers at the window, sneak behind the counters and take the device for themselves. This can be done via distracting the tellers, knocking them out, or other methods Elda and Wesker may think of. Luckily the abadacus doesn't seem to effect Elda at all.

Problems the two of them will face are the brainwashing effects of the casino, the tellers blocking their path, and navigating the casino in the first place. Once the abadacus is in hand, they will also find their movements slowed down making for a more difficult escape back out into the city.

However, with the two of them working together they should be able to succeed.
