In reviewing the player plot in question, we have a few notes.
We're glad you went through with our suggestion of expanding your original idea to a springtime fair! The fair itself and the event itself are fine and we think it's great that so many people are contributing ideas to this. We have no notes on the type of entertainment, games and food offered and we will review the OOC planning post to appropriately divide the points once the player plot is complete. We will not be rewarding points to players who sign up for the plot itself, but rather players who contributed ideas to you specifically (suggesting food booths, suggesting auction items, etc.)
Of note: we do have a fundraising event for the local pet shelter/humane society that is slated for April. In our initial discussions, you had mentioned wanting to do an adoption drive, and then a pet show, and then a springtime fair involving a pet show. You are more than free to include the charity portion for the animal shelter in this springtime fair plot as presented to us but we wanted to give you a heads up in case you wanted to change your charity of choice.
The auction and the charity proceeds are also cleared by us. However, Retrospec will not be sponsoring this event. Player characters' businesses are great sponsors and as this is a more community-oriented event, we will be keeping Retrospec out at this time.
You are absolutely free to do an OOC sign-up for characters who would have a booth and who would participate/offer services for the auction/etc. We encourage it so that players know what's going on and you have everything organized for your plot.
We feel that a week is a bit too long for this sort of event and would like to change this to one weekend. Please pick a weekend in May and provide us with dates so that we may coordinate with other events we have in the works and confirm your plot slot.
We hope this helps you! Please let us know if you have further questions. As mentioned, please get back to us ASAP with dates and finalized ideas of your plot. Once we have everything ironed out we will approve this plot. Thank you!
