This is where you can submit plot ideas for mod-run plots and submit larger scale player plots (or smaller scale ones) for approval to the mod team. Accepted submissions of either kind are eligible to earn extra points for regains, the amount which will be determined by the mods upon submission of a mod-run plot or completion of the player-run plot in execution. Plots which are open to a wider variety of characters will usually earn more points.
Please fill out the following form in order to submit your plot.
PLAYER: Your name.
CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Your character and any other characters involved in the event.
PLOT: Your idea.
NOTES: Note if you are suggesting this as a player-run or mod-run plot. Player-run plots which are successfully run by players will earn more points, as a note.

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Souji Narukami (
PLOT: Blind dating for Valentine's Day!
ICly, the twins will be hosting an event on Valentine's Day where characters can sign themselves up or others to participate in a blind date. Those who sign up can optionally give a very short description of what they're like (interests and the such) so they have a more suitable match. The sign-ups will be done through a network post that the twins will put up (this post will go up ASAP, should everything work out!) and then on day before Valentine's, the twins will reveal who is with who. They will do this through messaging the characters who their date will be. Then from there, the matches can proceed with plans for their date with free reign.
OOCly, in addition to the network post, I'll also put up a post on the OOC comm where players can sign up their characters for the dates. For those who have characters who wouldn't normally sign up for that stuff, I was thinking that either other characters can do it on their behalf (if they have CR that would do that) or maybe their names somehow got signed up into the system (just their names and no details about themselves)? I'm not entirely too certain how to do the latter part but I don't want to restrict the event for shy characters or those wouldn't typically do these things, so if you guys have any suggestions, that'd be great! The sign ups will be done through Retrospec so would something like a glitch work? Since the twins only need a name to work with the matching process.
After everyone's been matched, then I'll contact everyone involved by leaving them an IC message in their character's inbox about who they've been matched up with. I was thinking about leaving these messages on the 12th, two days before Valentine's (but ICly saying that they were left on the morning of the 13th), so everyone can have some time to plot with their partner about how the date would or would not go.
Then on the 14th, a log will go up where all the Valentine's Day blind dating stuff goes, so all the dates can in one post rather than a bunch clogging up the comm.
I hope this makes sense (this was written on my phone in an uber, laughs) and if it works! I'm definitely willing to figure things out with you guys on this \o\
NOTES: I know that this is working on short notice since the 14th is pretty close, but I'll try to get everything up ASAP, should it be approved and we work out things! I really appreciate the opportunity c:

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Yuri Plisetsky (
PLOT: Springtime Community Production of Romeo & Juliet. Possibly in early April?
ICly running with an idea that the local high school Drama Teacher also helps produce and/or direct a community theatre show at least once a year, and they're looking at getting more students from the high school to participate in the community arts. As a consequence, the drama teacher is offering students extra credit for participation in the production, either on stage or behind the stage, for the duration of the spring production timeline. (The drama teacher may also be responsible for a language or perhaps history? That or they get other teachers to sign off on this in the humanities, since really, who else would.)
An open casting/audition call and call for all those interested in costuming, lighting, sound systems, backstage work, the choreography, and/or set design at the high school, the local community center, and the local college(s). There's no limit on the way people can help out, and not even an age limit, since it's open to the community at large. Each role would be double-cast, with people acting as understudies and also working on bit roles; my end goal for that is more to have an excuse for the primary cast to get pulled out of action for at least one performance and require the understudies to step up and pull off a successful production.
Roles not filled by PCs will be filled by NPCs. This plot would hopefully allow for people to strike up potentially unlikely CR due to being involved with the production; it also gives excuses for people to practice lines with those not involved, or to otherwise engage using the play as an excuse for why it's happening. NPC roles can also be taken up by PCs joining later (in game, life happens, some drop out, and sometimes we just draft new people to participate as a whole, etc).
I'd be planning on some light NPCing of the director, having an open log for auditions, which would likewise be open for anyone to view. Then a later log, for the rehearsals and the building of sets and painting and costume fittings, etc. The final log would be for the performances, including the performances with the understudies having taken over all the roles because of Mysterious Incident involving all the people first cast in those roles. (Honestly this would just be to allow more people an opportunity for characters to be in whatever roles on stage and performing; otherwise the nice part is that practice alone allows people to "take on" the part of whomever they wish!)
OOCly, this would start with an open OOC post for interest and people to submit their characters for what role(s) they'd like to take on. In the case of actors in the play, their top three rolls will also be requested. Beyond that, I would ask that anyone wanting to participate as an actor tags in ICly to show up to the rehearsal; the rest are optional, but encouraged!
NOTES: This is player run! I won't lie, I mostly want to run this so I have a reason for Yuri to be cast as Tybalt and the whole extra credit thing is how I figured I could ICly con him into the time sink of a stage production in anything not dance. TYBALT COULD USE SOME FANCY FOOTWORK RIGHT let's choreograph this fight scene guys let's do it! Beyond that, I could see the entire process being a means for people to find possible avenues to triggering other regains, some how.

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Souji Seta (
PLOT: A beauty pageant sponsered by Retrospec!
A city-wide event that will be split into three different categories: Mr, Miss, and Crossdressing. Participants can join more than one category (ex: competing in both Mr and Crossdressing) and can either sign themselves up or have someone else them up (or through a glitch within the network). IC sign-ups will be taking place in a public network post that will be created by Souji Seta, who will be the host of the event (after being sent a very mysterious message from Retrospec). While there is nothing preventing someone from bowing out and refusing to participate when they've already been signed up, the winners of each section will win a prize for a "chance to remember". This prize will be one memory without a required trigger.
Events of the pageants will be: answering questions from the crowd, showing off a skill, public humiliation, and of course, being at the whim of the crowd who able to give ratings from 1 to 10 with the little whiteboards that they'd be given (Retrospec or Souji are not responsible for any damaged egos or assaults that will be occurring during these rankings).
OOCly, an OOC and IC sign-up post will go up on March 18th while the IC event will go up on March 25th. The winners for the event will be chosen randomly (ICly, it would be chosen be some mysterious judges) and ICly announced in the event log.

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Jason Todd (
PLOT: Food truck rally for all our hungry selves.
Sponsored by all the big name food industry companies in Recollé, the Food Truck Rally is a yearly event that visits Recollé's Boardwalk every spring... or whatever season this can be ICly arranged for. With over fifty food trucks, stands and kiosks (varying from food chains to local small businesses), characters will be able to eat themselves into a food coma and enjoy some time out at the beach. OOCly, both business owners and employees of NPC owned businesses are welcome to participate. As long as it's in the food industry, it's safe to assume their workplace has some level of participation here.
Aside from the obvious munching and crunching, there will be an abundance of things going on well into the night. There will be live music for most of the event, kiosks and stands featuring other types of wares (keychains, trinkets, etc.), face painting, and volleyball games on the beach. Those who participate in the food truck rally will also have the option of entering a raffle. The winners of this raffle will receive one of the following: a cupon book with around $500 in savings at participating fast food restaurants, a $50 gift card, novelty sunglasses, and a free dinner for six (6) at some ritzy restaurant. Players are also welcome to submit prizes from their own businesses into the raffle. Winners will be selected via RNG.
ICly, characters would pressumably learn about this event via advertisements around the city (flyers, ads in the local fast food restaurants, maybe brief TV spots?? or something). Jason will also be the designated "you're getting paid extra for this" employee helping out at one of his part time's truck, as well as helping put up flyers around town before the event. Money is good and he would sell his soul to capitalism?? Etc, etc, etc. But to be brief, arrangements will be made so characters will ICly know about this event in order to swing by when it happens.
On the OOC side of things...! An interest check/sign up post would be tossed up so players can maybe sign their businesses up (NPC owned or player owned, both are fine), participate in the raffle, plot things out, and just generally ask questions if they have them. A log would later go up at whatever date we agree on, if this is approved, so players can top level with their characters working at the rally or simply being a customer enjoying their day.
NOTES: THIS CAN BE PLAYER RUN so no worries. I was thinking the log itself could take place sometime between the 10th and 15th of April if approved, so it doesn't conflict with anything else stated on the calendar. The OOC interest/sign-ups could happen a week or two or so before the date of the log, so there's plenty of time to hash things out.

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Garnet (
PLOT: Black Tie & Tails - a fundraiser for the local pet shelter/humane society! I'm also willing to change it to like, Planned Parenthood or something if the shelter people don't... want money. This is literally just an excuse to have a formal event.
Ari, now that she's settled, thinks a lot of people might use a distraction from the goings on with Retrospec. A big fancy party is great for that.
She'll be using her connections to rent a large event space and turn it into a real ball, complete with music of all kinds (classical and then if there are players who have bands, they can play too). Tentatively, the theme will be animals though it's not necessary for people to wear cat ears/masks/whatever. They can if they'd like! The only stipulation is that they have to be dressed at least a little nice. A minimum donation of at least 5 dollars or some pet food is what's needed to get in the door.
In addition to dancing, music, and ridiculously fancy animal-themed food, there will also be a meet and greet for people to learn about the animals who need adoption and fill out applications for them. The animals will need handlers, so that provides another opportunity for people to interact... Nothing helps pick up dates better than puppies, right?
Also a cute idea I had: people who wear animal things, one way or another, could take on certain 'characteristics' of the animal they chose, or parts of their costume might turn real for a night. So a girl with a cat ear headband might end up feeling easily-distracted and playful, or maybe the ears move? And dog people might end up playing fetch. LMAO. Just an idea! The effects would only be temporary and would last only until they left the party.
OOCly, I definitely plan on putting a call on the ooc comm for shelter people because I know there's quite a few and I don't want to step on their toes. The time of the plot doesn't particularly matter. While this sort of thing is suited for Halloween, I don't wanna wait that long. So spring fling it is!
A few characters might want to attend but not be able to because of money or lack of costumes. For that reason, I'll have Ari herself offer to outfit anyone who needs it.
NOTES: Again, I'm willing to change every aspect of this if you'd like-- I just want an excuse to see people looking ridiculously gorgeous in formal wear, and this is open to all ages.
I'd also like to note that it's a great opportunity for memory regains, though I think item/power/ability ones would be fine for characters who attended too.
no subject
So we've read over the details of your plot and this is very solid framework you have, we like it! Here are a couple of notes from us to help further iron out your plans.
-"Also a cute idea I had: people who wear animal things, one way or another, could take on certain 'characteristics' of the animal they chose, or parts of their costume might turn real for a night."
This we will have to pass on! Players are free to be as silly or creative as they'd like but there would be no game/Retrospec influence over them for these items. On the other hand, Retrospec may notice what Ari's up to, but what they'll do about it (if anything) will remain a mystery for now :)
-"OOCly, I definitely plan on putting a call on the ooc comm for shelter people because I know there's quite a few and I don't want to step on their toes. The time of the plot doesn't particularly matter. While this sort of thing is suited for Halloween, I don't wanna wait that long. So spring fling it is!"
The latter half of April might be good! As mentioned to you we have a player running the high school prom sometime in later May and we potentially have the springtime fair at some point (dates TBD), along with the food truck rally 4/12, so maybe the third week of April? If you want to do this right after the new app cycle to hit new characters let us know and we can work out a date in May that won't conflict with the mod-event and other player events!
-"A few characters might want to attend but not be able to because of money or lack of costumes. For that reason, I'll have Ari herself offer to outfit anyone who needs it."
That's awesome, we approve! We also suggest maybe Ari can link up with some of the fashion students/boutique owners/clerks in the city if you want (add it to your OOC note if you'd like, etc, just as a way to draw more people in!)
-"I'd also like to note that it's a great opportunity for memory regains, though I think item/power/ability ones would be fine for characters who attended too."
For something like this, we will treat it as we would a normal log! You would receive compensation based on how much organization and time went into organizing and running the log and anyone who tags in has an equal opportunity for memory regains just based on threading or building up bonus points for item/ability regains.
We hope all of this makes sense! Please let us know what dates you're thinking and we'll start reviewing our calendar to hammer things out so you can begin your OOC planning. Thank you!

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Augustine Sauveterre (
PLOT: As I said in our discussions, I was thinking of a Springtime Fair being held in Recolle Square for the charity of Recolle Animal Shelter and Recolle Zoo and Aquarium. The theme suggested by Latroma (
Also, the main event should be an auction that sells and bids on the participants' services such as yard work, handy-work, and such for a fee, which might be good for business owners, I think. There should also be a silent auction for blind gift baskets, which they can handwave that their characters bought it there. As for the charity part, the small proceedings from the auctions as well with the booths should go to the animal shelter and zoo and aquarium's conservation project. Also for the sponsors, I think not only will it be the mentioned two businesses I've mentioned above, but also Retrospec if you're okay with it.
OOC-wise, I was thinking that along with the characters I've mentioned from "Characters Involved", there should be a sign-up for booth owners as well participants for the service auction that might be set up at April after the food rally and fundraiser, but I don't know if that is okay with you. As for the IC log, it should go up at the second half of May, which this event will run for one week.
I hope this makes a lot of sense since this is my first time making a player plot, but feel free to give me a holler if this need more information or it doesn't work at all...
NOTES: This should be a player-run, obviously. Also, I'm still okay with sharing the points to booth owners and players who contribute the whole fair.
no subject
In reviewing the player plot in question, we have a few notes.
We're glad you went through with our suggestion of expanding your original idea to a springtime fair! The fair itself and the event itself are fine and we think it's great that so many people are contributing ideas to this. We have no notes on the type of entertainment, games and food offered and we will review the OOC planning post to appropriately divide the points once the player plot is complete. We will not be rewarding points to players who sign up for the plot itself, but rather players who contributed ideas to you specifically (suggesting food booths, suggesting auction items, etc.)
Of note: we do have a fundraising event for the local pet shelter/humane society that is slated for April. In our initial discussions, you had mentioned wanting to do an adoption drive, and then a pet show, and then a springtime fair involving a pet show. You are more than free to include the charity portion for the animal shelter in this springtime fair plot as presented to us but we wanted to give you a heads up in case you wanted to change your charity of choice.
The auction and the charity proceeds are also cleared by us. However, Retrospec will not be sponsoring this event. Player characters' businesses are great sponsors and as this is a more community-oriented event, we will be keeping Retrospec out at this time.
You are absolutely free to do an OOC sign-up for characters who would have a booth and who would participate/offer services for the auction/etc. We encourage it so that players know what's going on and you have everything organized for your plot.
We feel that a week is a bit too long for this sort of event and would like to change this to one weekend. Please pick a weekend in May and provide us with dates so that we may coordinate with other events we have in the works and confirm your plot slot.
We hope this helps you! Please let us know if you have further questions. As mentioned, please get back to us ASAP with dates and finalized ideas of your plot. Once we have everything ironed out we will approve this plot. Thank you!

PLOT: Just in time for spring, this would be a game-wide change like with the chocobos and it would be all the flowers can talk like in Alice Through the Looking Glass. The flowers would have all sorts of different personalities but they are all very big on manners and not very good at recognizing people for people but rather, they think people are fellow flowers that are just able to walk. They fear being plucked but stop talking once they are. Some are willing to grant permission to being plucked.

PLOT: Recollé Treasure Hunt
Gather up a team of 2-4 people and explore the city while solving clues that will lead you to a grand prize! Each clue (essentially a simple puzzle or riddle) will lead the teams to a different business or location in the city, and once there, they will have to figure out where the next clue is and how to physically retrieve it to continue the game.
ICly, the treasure hunt will take place on Sunday, June 4th, but from an OOC perspective will take place over the course of 2 weeks for an even distribution of clues over that time frame. The timeline for clue distribution is as follows: June 4, first clue; June 7, second clue; June 10, third clue; June 13, fourth clue; June 16, fifth/final clue.
IC/OOC sign-ups open on May 28 and close on June 3, upon which the IC event log will go up. Players can form their own teams or have their characters be randomized into one, but there will not be any glitches since the game requires active participation— go heckle your friends! The grand prize is TBD but it'll be shiny, I promise. There will also be a call for consolation prizes to be donated from player businesses or organizations (donate a prize and the city might be more inclined to send a clue over and bring in more business via the treasure hunters...)
NOTES: For reference, further (screened) details are being worked out in the mod contact page here

PLOT: GAME/COMIC/EVERYTHING CONVENTION.
Transcend:GAME is proud to be the headlining sponsor for this year's edition of the Recollé Comics and Game Convention, although it's really a misnomer and is four days dedicated to and celebrating all things fandom. This year's edition will be held at the Recollé Convention Centre over the weekend of July 27th to July 30th.
Yeah, it's a massive event. Go big or go home.Aside from exhibitions and panels hosted by companies in the gaming, animation and comics sector, there will also be space for stores and fan/independent artists to booth and exhibit/sell their work. There will also be mini exhibition tournaments for console and card gaming, as well as an open space for tabletop and live action roleplaying games. The convention is also cosplay friendly.
Transcend:GAME also intends to showcase a preview of its newest game slated for a Christmas 2017 release. ( Any other companies that want to showcase products are also welcome! )
Preparations for the convention will take place throughout the months of June and July. An OOC info/catch all post will be posted on July 15th detailing the specific areas in the con itself.

This event sounds really fun, we like this! A couple of notes from us though.
A.) At this time, Retrospec would not be able to sponsor this event due to some IC changes in the company!
This means that the winner will need to receive a separate prize. We recommend sourcing from character CR, having prize donations, etc.
B.) However, what we are willing to do as a compromise for OOC incentive is that players who create teams or run courses solo while completing their course are eligible to receive one free 10-20 point item of their choice. We would like to reward players for participation in player plots rather than rely on an RNG system solely for signing up. ICly characters will know that they will receive a mystery prize (this will not be sponsored by Retrospec despite players oocly knowing what these prizes are), but they will not know what they are at the time of sign-ups and will not know until they finish the course.
C.) This timeline is completely fine for us, though please keep in mind that we do have the TDM/reserves/apps in November as well if that changes your timeframe at all!
D.) We're definitely fine with the penalties and course challenges you guys plan on doing, and we do advise taking a look at November's mini-log/in-game effects to help you plan these as well.
D.5) Not really a note, just a recommendation from us. In order to help keep the hype going on this and make it a thing players can participate in, you may wish to throw together a training log, sign-ups, team-building exercises, etc, to get you through from whenever your IC announcement is until the actual log itself goes up.
D.5.2) Keep in mind that a lot of the players now have special abilities/magic/powers/etc and you may wish to also design some courses/caps based on these (or tell characters they aren't allowed to cheat :P)
Let us know if this all sounds good to you and we'll add it to this month's calendar!

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Everyone on Retrospec
PLOT: So this is more of a silly idea that some of us in the game thought would be funny: an Age Change event. The idea is that the adult characters (18 and older) would be aged down a younger age (14 or younger). Anyone under 14 would have the option of being aged up and between the ages 15-17 could choose to go up or down. Either way, everyone changes age. I'm not particularly picky of whether the characters mental age changes to what age they change to or their mental age stays the same. Either way could be fun.
NOTES:none comes to mind. I just thought this would be a silly idea that could be fun for everyone.
no subject
Thank you for your suggestion. This definitely sounds like an event that would be fun for the game at large to play with and allow for engaging threads. At this time, however, we would have to say that this idea would need to be put off until at least after the current arc of events coming into the game (now through October) and so the earliest this could potentially be considered is November!
If you'd like, however, you're more than welcome to make this a non-game canon meme in the meme comm to play with. We appreciate this suggestion and thank you for understanding.

CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Sakura Kinomoto
PLOT:
So, (spoilers?) in Clear Card, the most recent arc (currently still ongoing) of the manga, Sakura's gotten powerful enough ala Clow that her wishing for things can create cards to do with that wish. For example, her wishing she had a way to record a particular moment, in taking a photo/video, literally created RECORD. Which allows her to see and interact with recordings of the past.
This is basically how I'd want to deal with at least the first idk two? regains once I get to her upgrading to using the Clear Cards. In her creating (literally) and upgrading cards, to be more specific, and said cards going around messing with people (for example, Mirror confusing people by pretending to be Sakura, which does happen in canon).
At the moment I'm thinking Mirror and maybe Blaze (basically like an upgraded, more powerful Firey card) for the event? Or Aqua (an upgraded, more powerful version of Watery) for something potentially less just outright destructive in not setting things on fire. Or perhaps RECORD, if that might be more interesting for others to go into their au past/canon past for other cr to experience and ask about?
NOTES: This is me pitching this player plot idea officially like, months? in advance since I have yet to even regain all of her Clow Cards, to then upgrade them (twice! Sakura Cards and then the Clear Cards. Thanks CLAMP for more work there....) but. Just thinking ahead and had this as an idea on ways to get others interacting with the cards too ala canon. Either as a one off thing or smaller more regular ish events as she regains all the newer cards eventually. Not setting a date on it yet since idk how long it'll take in figuring getting the rest of the cards and then upgrading them/the staff but. Figured this was the likely place to pitch this officially outside of just rambling ideas on plurk.
