PERMANENT AC POST

PERMANENT AC CHECK
AC Policy In Recollé two AC proofs and a memory regain are required per character. Guidelines for AC are as follows: 

💠 AC must be at least fifteen comments presented in no less than two and no more than four threads. The minimum comment requirement for these threads is 3 comments from you. Anything less than 15 comments will be kicked back to the player as insufficient AC.

💠 A post (network or log) from you would count as one comment in any chain of comments. For example, a post with four consecutive comments from you would count as five comments for AC. We ask that your proofs do not both come from the same post from you. Please also keep in mind that toplevels on any post do not count as 1 thread, but count as separate threads for each tag-in. This also includes threads on your own self-made posts. We do ask you specify which threads are counting towards your AC proof, thank you!

💠 One memory regain, which can be regained through normal means or from a freebie memory of the month. This must be a memory regain, not a purchased regain such as an item or ability. This link must be a link to your regain and our response, not the thread the regain occurred in.

💠 Please try not to use the same character for more than one proof. We are lenient with this as we know sometimes people have bad months, but the moderators may speak to you if we notice this as a continuing pattern.

💠 You may also use IC inboxes as activity, though we ask that you do not always use that as your AC source.

💠 AC proofs must have been started in the month they are for. For instance, you may not use a thread started in July for August's AC, though you may use comments from that thread made in August for bonus points.

💠 Activity is to be reported to your permanent top-level. You may submit your AC at any point during the month and may edit as many times as you'd like until comments are frozen to be checked. All proofs and points must be reported before the AC period closes. AC is due by 11:59PM EST of the last day of every month. We do not do activity warning lists, so please submit your AC at the appropriate time.

💠 If you fail to submit AC before AC closes you will receive a strike; furthermore, bonus points for any given month may not be submitted after that month's AC has closed. You will also receive a strike for failing to meet AC. If you receive a second strike without clearing the first from your record, you will be removed from the game.

💠 To clear a strike you must pass AC the following month. Strikes are done per character, so it is possible to pass with one character and fail with another. However, if there is a pattern of passing/failing alternating between characters, the mods may ask you to drop one character.

💠 For information about how hiatuses work, please visit our hiatus page here. Please be aware you may not claim points when you hiatus or strike.

💠 Players who hiatus in one month must pass AC the next in order to stay in the game. Likewise, players who take a strike for the previous month may not hiatus for the current month and must pass AC. Either scenario would count as two months without passing AC, which counts as grounds for removal from the game.

Bonus Points 💠 Bonus points must be reported to your AC top-level and may be redeemed for any comments submitted in addition to your AC proofs. Additional network comments (text or phone calls) will equal 1 point, while additional action comments (anything face-to-face) will equal 2. This qualifies for both brackets and prose-style.

💠 As of March 2019, all comments submitted for AC may be eligible for bonus points as well.

💠 Please specify what a thread is as shown in our AC examples. If you switch between network and action, please submit these as two different line items. This makes for easier counting not only for you, but for your moderators and AC checkers, too! If you go above the minimum requirement of AC comments in the thread you report as your AC proof, link only the part which earns bonus points in the point section. For example, you would link the thread from the start as your AC proof. Then you would link the 11th comment (using the 10 comment AC in one thread example) into the bonus points when reporting the thread for bonus points.

💠 You may redeem points from TDM threads as well! For new characters, you may submit your TDM threads for bonus points during your first month's AC. Players already in-game may claim these points in the month that the TDM is on-going.

💠 Bonus points can only be earned off of comments made in the current AC month. This includes threads started in the previous month with comments made in the current month.

💠 Bonus points can also only be earned if you turn in your AC! This means if you are on hiatus or you are planning on taking a strike as you do not have AC proofs, you may not collect bonus points.

💠 Points may only be used from monthly comments which are already frozen. For example, you may redeem points from July's posts in August, but you may not redeem points from August's posts until August's AC has closed. New characters will not be able to purchase items/abilities/appearance regains until their second month in-game, and current players will not be able to borrow points between past and current AC for purchases.

💠 As of January 2019, we are offering an alternate means to obtain bonus points. If players do not wish to count their comments for points, they may submit a short summary for the month! This summary must include what a character has done for the month and include relevant threads. While these do not have to be plot-relevant, we do ask that they show character participation, etc, either in the form of participating in game events, personal character growth or more. We ask that these summaries be a maximum of 400 words, and bonus points will be rewarded accordingly via PM. Once you have received your PM, we will unfreeze your AC comment to allow you to add these rewarded points to your total. Please note: points will change based on each summary! You may receive 100 points one month, but then receive 300 another.

💠 In addition, we are now hosting a donation pool for bonus points. Players may sign up to either donate or receive bonus points among their fellow players. Donations will be cut off at 12am EST the day before AC closes to allow moderators time to reward points before AC closes. It is then up to the players to adjust their AC comments to reflect these newly rewarded points. You can read more about this option and sign up over at this post.

AC Form See our example if you are confused about how the form should be filled out. There are examples for every instance that may occur. Please remember to replace "thread" with either "Action" or "Network" and be sure to calculate your points accordingly. We also ask that you replace X/X with the date the thread starts; for example, 01/21 or so on. For the Regain Proof, please link to your approved request on our Regains page, not the thread in which you regained something!
