OCTOBER ITEM HUNTS
Hello! If you would like to form a small group (minimum of two players) to go on a mini-quest throughout the game's landscape searching for an item, clue, or spell to ward off the infection please fill out the form below!
Please note: the mod team will only be providing the item, what it may need to be combined with, the location, and potential troubles they may have searching for it. We will leave how you thread this out up to you.
Characters who are infected may still participate in the daytime hours should you wish! However, your scenarios may be a little...different...
We will also create a small master list of what characters are going after what items so that you may reference it to coordinate and combine your items! Please remember you will need to figure out IC arrangements on your own.

Location opt-outs: Is there anywhere you don't want to go? (Includes the haunted house in prompt 4 of the event log + the four regions)
Monster: Any specific monster you want to try to find a cure/protectant against? (If not, just leave this blank)

Hello brave survivalists...you've picked a good day to venture out and try to stop the outbreak.
When Akira and
BooYusuke approach the mailbox outside of Wiffle-Waffle, they will receive a note from the mailbox. The writing on the bottom is smudged, but it will state the following:Encounchtra: a large shell that may be directed toward merfolk to mute their song, steal their voice, and temporarily give them legs and human-esque features to break the sea spell. These shells are protected by the hippocampi who have cherished these shells for generations, pouring their secrets and their songs into the shell's core.
May also be blown into to steer shadows away from Shades.
Why does Yusuke keep going to Pesgare? Why are you all doing this to him? Off they go on their merry little adventure straight into the heart of Pesgare. Interesting enough, they probably won't even need to stop in the village since they've encountered the hippocampi before and will be able to find them in the same cove as before.
While they'll greet Yusuke warily, and then warmly once they recognize him, Akira will receive unsure whinnying from these beautiful creatures because BEGONE, DEMON. They are not fans of the monster viruses that are going around and will try to keep Akira out of the water of their sea cave. It's a darkness they seem to recognize, too, which makes them more prone to being nervous.
It'll be difficult for them as the hippocampi will be even more protective than usual, but if Yusuke and Akira get a close look down at the bottom of the pool in the cave they'll spot several purple conch shells, pink streams flowing out of them and mixing into the water. Unlike the water that led them down into the cave in the first place, trying to swim through the hippocampi pool will prove to be much harder than it looks! It's almost like trying to swim through jello once they dip below the surface and they'll struggle for breath. Not to mention the hippocampi will swarm around them and try to shoo them off, flippers pushing and splashing them.
The pair will have to be creative in how they can obtain the shells. It's possible that they can use some of their Personas, or they can find a way to make peace with the hippocampi again and explain that they're trying to heal members of the city of Recollé. They're fairly understanding horses.
Eventually, they'll be able to reach the shells and pull them out of the water. They'll hear beautiful music, a song that merfolk are compelled to sing along with and that ensnares their voice to disarm them. They may be lucky and be able to snag a few shells, too.
The above are problems they're going to run into, not to mention actually carrying the shells back without drawing the attention of mermaids in open water...but hopefully they'll have a safe journey back.
