LOCATIONS
For locations inside Recollé, please go here.
Pesgare Found three hours south of the city by boat, Pesgare is a bustling little harborside town with a wide ocean and streams leading fishermen and traders in from all parts of the world. The region known as Pesgare is filled with cramped quarters and cobblestone-esque roads and it’s hard to tell who is and isn’t from the area, with everyone speaking multiple languages (some of which aren't recognizable). While the weather is constantly overcast and threatening rain, the people in this region are jovial and friendly. CANON BUYBACKS: None. OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST:
• The Ontispan: the inn travelers are advised to stay at, located at the top of the harbor town's hill. Several stories high and easily the most recognizable building in the port, you will find that it’s near the lighthouse and the owners, an elderly couple, are more than happy to take you in. • Marketplace: A lot of the places in the area appear to be trade posts for certain specialties. This includes weaponry, types of fish, cured meats and veggies, bakeries, books, equipment, curio wares and more.
Respatrum An hour east of the city and located underground, the tunnels leading to Respatrum are silent and the walls are lined with dirt and rocks and dead vines. Sweltering and underground, Respatrum is a region of extreme heat and spirals and cubbyholes that is far bigger than it appears to be. The constant sound of iron banging and sparks flying through the air may remind some of a smithy straight out of a storybook. The inhabitants of this region aren't friendly but aren't hostile either, falling into a more neutral stance. CANON BUYBACKS: None. OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST:
• Marketplace: There appear to be hundreds of shops that are open in cavern-like openings in cliffsides and can be reached via the stone staircases built connecting each path in the center or by other means such as flight, jumping, etc.
Bosuma Two hours west of the city through the Recollé woods, Bosuma is a forest domain larger than life. Populated with towering trees and overgrown mushrooms, the forest is home mostly to animals from the sound of it and it’s rarely quiet. Chattering birds and the trickles of rivers make up the soundtrack for this area and it will take quite a while to walk anywhere to find some sort of civilization. CANON BUYBACKS: None. OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST: None currently, beyond the dryads.
Magatus Seven hours north of the city through the Recollé woods, Magatus is permanently semi-dark with beautiful colors streaking across the sky, Magatus is filled with rivers, grass, coniferous trees and snow-capped mountains. The temperature is quite frigid, so travelers will need to bundle up! The region known as Magatus is fairly open and while there may not a huge population like Recollé, there are several small towns to be found. There are roughly 1,500 square miles to cover in the area claiming to be Magatus and some parts of this region may experiences changes in weather including heavy snow, ice, and blackouts. CANON BUYBACKS: None. OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST:
• Ski Lodge: This ski lodge is up at the base of a large mountain in the region of Magatus, open and welcoming to travelers who wish to ski, snowboard and enjoy the winter weather year-round. With cozy couches and fire places in the lodge and several sleeping quarters, it's the perfect little getaway. Behind the lodge is a mountain equip with a ski lift and several slopes open for winter sports.
