Newly housed in a remote location attached to the Recollé Public Library, one only has to pass through the invisible door scanners to access Zee's current office. Upon entering, users will see an upgraded suite, three unmarked (and closed) doors along the wall behind Zee's desk, and windows overlooking the city.

-Threads with Zee may be used for AC/bonus points should players choose to do so.
-Threads with Zee may be used to gain mission assignments or discuss plot points, game events, etc.
-Threads with Zee may be cut short if they are irrelevant solely to save on mod-time as well.
-Unless stated otherwise, assume that he is always reachable for Retrospec users.

Huh. So it's sort of already putting a volunteer clause into place.
...I wonder why it hasn't taken its effect yet.

One world has to finish. Which has never happened before. I was hoping if this thing got settled with other people’s actions, Retrospec’s process would snap back into place the way it’s supposed to have been, like you suggested it should be doing without interference.

So now we just have to find someone's world to finish in order for the domino effect to take place. Everything slots in pretty cleanly from there.

Thus why I was asking about splitting out the souls. Togusa’s world should exist. But I cant do my job if I’m not here. So, if you haven’t worked out that wrinkle, you might need to ask for a volunteer who wants the world they’re seeing to exist.

It goes back to the question of what makes you think both parts of the soul can't simultaneously exist?

I think they can. His and mine. But it’s always sounded like we needed something extra to not be forced to make a choice at the end.

That's what I'm still searching for across timelines, sir. A way to let the two parts of the soul coincide and exist without overwriting everything.
...if that was possible, wouldn't that be the best outcome?

What can we, the users, do to make this happen?

There needs to be enough energy generated to stabilize both sides of the soul, to put it simply. Remember enough about both lives, both lives can co-exist. That was the original plan.
As users, it's the stabilization of your own soul that needs to happen. Which means knowing a clear path.
Jumping timelines to understand the past to affect your future was just the beginning.
And while we have three chances to check in and see if we can get this right, in the end it's about getting to one solid conclusion.
And that's making this, all of this, self-sufficient.
