Zee Carlisle, #55891
Newly housed in a remote location attached to the Recollé Public Library, one only has to pass through the invisible door scanners to access Zee's current office. Upon entering, users will see an upgraded suite, three unmarked (and closed) doors along the wall behind Zee's desk, and windows overlooking the city.
-Threads with Zee may be used for AC/bonus points should players choose to do so.
-Threads with Zee may be used to gain mission assignments or discuss plot points, game events, etc.
-Threads with Zee may be cut short if they are irrelevant solely to save on mod-time as well.
-Unless stated otherwise, assume that he is always reachable for Retrospec users.

[Because "Jaeger Wesker" sounds terrible, honestly. So it's still Schwarz, he just prefers not to acknowledge his real name at all, including the last name.]
No, no, I'm fine, but thank you for offering.
[He'll go ahead and take a seat in one of the chairs, absently adjusting his sleeves a bit as he settles. He's dressed a little too formally - as he always is - and his posture's a bit too stiff to be considered relaxed. Even so, he's clearly not looking to pick a fight or anything.]
Perhaps I should have contacted you first before showing up... Ah, but you did let us know you'd be here, so I suppose you've probably had a few unexpected visitors already, ja?
no subject
You could say that, yeah. [Including three morons who kidnapped him. THANKS MORONS.] I don't particularly mind? It's kind of in the job description. I try to be here as much as I can be.
no subject
Ja, of course. With how things are going, I'm sure you're a very busy man.
...And speaking of how things are going, I do have a few questions for you about Retrospec. There have been some things that have troubled me for quite some time, and I'd like to see if they're anything you have answers for.
[It's entirely possible Zee won't be able to help at all, but it's not like it'll hurt to try.]
no subject
I'll do my best, sir. Fire away. [He has a feeling these are going to be harder questions than usual, but he owes it to this group to try.]

First of all, I'd like to request any more information you can give me about the current situation. I understand if it's something you'd prefer to share with us all together, or if there isn't anything else you can divulge at the moment, but I figure it's worth asking.

[...sigh. He's running a hand through his hair.] The fact of the matter is Vanderweele's control is spreading way too far and way too fast. If we have any hopes of fixing the city and stabilizing the area, and keeping your souls aligned, we have to stop him. That means exploring places we've never gone before and that means making the preparations we can. Making sure you know how to work together. Boosting your defenses. Stuff like that.

[It sure would be nice to know in advance, but let's be honest, no one's luck is that good here.]
no subject
If we have our way, we'll be able to dive into further layers and take out every base he has that's powering his efforts.
[...so yeah, he kind of knows.]

I'm sure there are quite a few who will jump in to help, as always. I doubt any of us want anything like that to happen.
Is there anything more you can tell me about what happened to the Retrospec employees? Do you know how he was able to mess with all of them?

[But that's something that we'll probably be facing soon, and we'll hopefully figure something out by then.]
I think that's it for questions I have on current events. If you have the time, may I ask you a bit more about Retrospec itself and how you all handle things? When everything is running smoothly, that is.

The most relevant would be what you plan to do should things either not improve with the Retrospec employees or somehow get worse. You're the only one running things right now, ja? I can only imagine how difficult it is to manage all of this on your own.

[...let's be honest, he's only asking because he wants to know if you're recruiting his husband, but shhh.]
no subject
I would, but I'm getting the feeling you also have someone in mind. Am I right?
no subject
[There are many reasons for it, but he'll stick to the most practical.]
Aside from his strength and abilities - I'm sure you all have plenty of information about those already, yes? - he's wanted to help Retrospec, and he'll be able to handle anything you throw at him.
[It's stated with the utmost confidence; he really does believe that.]
I would like to be considered as well, at the very least so I can assist my husband, should he need it.
[He's been pretty vocal about his dislike and distrust of Retrospec all over the network posts, but at least he's willing to help??]
I am still curious about the list, though.
no subject
You've made a good case. I'll give you that.
no subject
I see. It sounds like you're really in need of help here...
[Good lord.]
Should you want my assistance, I'll do what I can.
no subject
What kind of skills do you have mastered by now? I haven't looked at your file for a while.
no subject
Fighting, primarily. I have knowledge of four different weapon types: sword, scythe, crossbow, and rifle, though I've received a bow that turns into a knife, so I could presumably remember how to use those as well. I've also remembered very powerful abilities called "artes", and I know how to use the majority of them.
[He usually doesn't, because he's good enough without them and because yelling attack names is embarrassing.]
I have slightly enhanced speed, strength, and durability, though nothing that really puts me above human limitations.
My skills primarily deal with fighting, but I can negotiate, should that skill be required instead of strength.
[It's true, but he's not exactly great at it, and he does have a tendency to get worked up very easily.]
no subject
Plus with everything on the sixth layer I don't even know what else to expect.
no subject
[Not that he's really complaining, he's enjoyed fighting since he first remembered how to handle his weapon.]
I'll be sure to keep that in mind, then. I think that's it for questions I have about what's coming up.
[...But obviously that's not it for questions in general, given the way he pauses. Sorry about that.]
How much do you know about the inner workings of Retrospec? I'm specifically asking about the processes behind who is placed on the app and what memories or physical regains are given out when, but anything you can tell me about the company would be appreciated.
[Depending on how much you know about him and his husband and their regains, it might be pretty obvious why he's asking.]
