Newly housed in a remote location attached to the Recollé Public Library, one only has to pass through the invisible door scanners to access Zee's current office. Upon entering, users will see an upgraded suite, three unmarked (and closed) doors along the wall behind Zee's desk, and windows overlooking the city.

-Threads with Zee may be used for AC/bonus points should players choose to do so.
-Threads with Zee may be used to gain mission assignments or discuss plot points, game events, etc.
-Threads with Zee may be cut short if they are irrelevant solely to save on mod-time as well.
-Unless stated otherwise, assume that he is always reachable for Retrospec users.

Is there even a reward at the end of all this? Or is it going to be a case of "being helpful IS the reward"? Because I don't play that game.

As for compensation, well... I'm not too picky. Cash or assets is fine. It's the least Retrospec could do for ruining my life AND getting involved in their little feud, which I never agreed to.

You're not exactly making a good pitch. Haven't you ever heard of bartering? Start high, then you go "low" and present what it is you actually want. Also you don't want assets from me. Trust me.

I don't see why I need to waste my time bartering when it's been made perfectly clear that Retrospec cares little about its user base. I don't see anyone offering any support aside from an occasional text message, and those do nothing for people like me who have been struggling ever since that shitty company you work for decided to show up and screw me over. I could ask you for $1.00 and not get it, instead getting some useless, vague spiel about Vanderweele and layers and that no, really, you're just trying to help. Except that outside your dedicated group of brown noses, no one likes you. If I had the means to wring your finances dry, I would. But no, I'm on the verge of being homeless again, my back is ruined, I have this psychotic secondary personality and a host of memories that'd drive even the most stable of people to the brink of insanity. And every month you roll in, do the bare minimum and expect everyone else to do the heavy lifting. The LEAST anyone in Retrospec can do is apologize and make an honest effort at some reparations for all the damage you've done. But you won't, because if you were able to be held accountable we wouldn't even BE in this mess.

So you tell me, Zee, what you think you could offer to fix that. Because all I'm hearing is more excuses.

Look man, I'm not going to sit here and go back and forth about if the company cares or not because at this point I AM the company and even I can see how fucked up everything got. I could revert your memories if you really wanted. Anyway I'm not apologizing for someone else's mistakes because that would be a false apology and not from the people who SHOULD be apologizing. So. I'm taking over to fix the balance. That's all I can offer. And maybe my paycheck since I'm financing myself at this point.

I don't want balance. I want money AND my split personality to go away AND my back scars removed AND all my memories gone AND I want Retrospec to go away, too.

So what you're saying is you want things to go back to the way they were before, but richer. Or do you really want to go back to being a complete blank slate?

What's the difference between "before" and "blank slate?" Aren't they the same thing?

Not necessarily. "Before" would be before the app in general. Blank slate would be starting over entirely and picking and choosing pieces of who you are. Like a blank canvas that you start tossing paint on.

So there's really no difference. I don't really care in either case. I don't want to remember anything. There's no value in keeping anything from any life I've had. You could completely wipe my memory and dump me in the middle of the road and it'll be dismissed as another mental crisis, and everything will end up repeating itself anyway.

It's possibly too good to be true, but it's also possibly true in general. It depends on how you look at it. But your threshold for believing people probably isn't that high, so I'm guessing I need some proof?

Obviously. You understand that Retrospec's record hasn't exactly been great so far. Even if you're working solo, you're still part of the company, and I have little reason to trust you.

The damage has been done. My life isn't getting any better with or without you in it. You're just a non-entity that talks a lot and sends us on fetch quests on your behalf.

Actually I suppose that makes it worse. Someone got shot because of you. It could have been me as well. Putting someone in that situation doesn't inspire faith in most people, least of all me.

Trying to guilt me for something that was and always has been voluntary isn't going to really work. Also, Togusa and I already spoke. But I get it. For what it's worth, this whole "grass is greener" thing actually isn't true? I sort of want to go back to how things were before I started learning about what the company really does.

So even you think this whole thing is pointless.

Just hit the reset button and get it over with. Stringing it along isn't helping.

I didn't say it exactly like that, but it's maybe half-pointless. I came in when things were already bad. So did you. That's the point. And if we reset at the wrong point...what then?

It's not like we'd know any better, once we get reset. I don't care. I doubt there's a right point...

Look, I just don't want to deal with this anymore. It's not that complicated. I don't care how other people feel about it.
