ASSIGNMENT BOARD

Welcome to the Recollé Assignment Board!

Each month, ten (10) NPC-assigned quests/missions/assignments will be available to the player base to pick up and do in order to explore new territories, build CR and more. These quests will not always net new plot information but will be handcrafted per each quester based on a series of wants and desires as listed before.

Please review our guidelines before submitting for a request!

• Players may only request an assignment for one character per month! That is to say if you play more than one character you may not take up multiple slots with these characters.

• Players must also wait a month in between assignment before requesting a second assignment.

• However, characters may accompany other assignment-holders on their mission should they be a part of their party. We do ask that players hold themselves accountable and do not send a character on multiple assignments back to back by being a member of multiple parties.

• Assignment parties must be a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of six (6)! While it is possible for someone to go on an adventure alone, for ooc sake and for threading purposes we ask that you at least have one partner.

• Successfully completed assignments will be rewarded with bonus points at the end! Please be sure to link your completed log back to your original assignment comment in order to receive these points.

• Assignments can be taken in any of the regions available in-game whether that's Recollé or anywhere listed on the outside locations page. Please indicate your preference of location in the assignment form.

• Finally, we do ask that players have a general idea of what sort of adventure they would like to go on! While the mod team is happy to create something for you with minimal information, we prefer that the form doesn't say "N/A" or "surprise me!" all the way across the board.

PC-BASED ASSIGNMENTS

We will also allow for the submission of up to five (5) PC-based assignments in addition to the ten NPC-based ones! A PC-based assignment is something players may submit for other players to participate in such as a healer fetching flowers from the forest that have been proven to have certain properties, or if another player left something behind in a separate region but does not have the resources to go back and retrieve it. These assignments will be on a case by case basis and can be submitted to this page as well. Unlike the NPC-based assignments, they will be clearly listed and outlined on the below assignment board.

OOCly, players you would submit a mission ("my character wants a big fish") and we would handwave ICly that your character spoke with the NPC about wanting these things. The quest then goes on the board and people can claim them from there. For PC requests, there should be somewhat of an IC incentive. Retrospec may step in if necessary but if it's a player request we expect PCs to be able to provide something of a reward for the effort.
